Snapped right onto the right side of the basal ring and it clicked in like the original. The bolt feels solid and the threads caught cleanly, so the ring stays put during use now.

Took a bit of measuring to be sure, but this genuine spare locks into the basal ring's right side exactly as it should, and my device feels solid again. It's a small piece, but it does its job without any wobble.

The threading is precise enough that the basal ring stays locked in place during use, which was my main worry after losing the original. It’s clearly machined to spec, and assembly took less than a minute.
